Join us this Thursday (Aug 27th) from 6-8pm in the Tyler Public Library’s Taylor Auditorium.
Photos from Mosaic at the park
All week, people have politely asked me how Mosaic’s services went on Sunday. I have explained that we didn’t have a “service,” but chose to cook out at Bergfeld park to spend time playing together and getting to know one another better.
The question is and has been: was that church?
All I can say is that, in some ways, it felt truer than services. For instance, if Christ loves people as we are told and shown in the gospel, what better way to serve Him than to grow closer to others, to share food and to share time?

Sunday afternoon fellowship
Rather than meeting for a worship service this Sunday, we will gather in Bergfeld Park at 3:00 for a time of communion and fellowship.
Please bring a dish of your choosing to share among us all, and be prepared to share the offerings brought by others as we get to know one another through the ancient practice of feasting.
We’ll meet on the corner of the park as close as possible to the playground equipment, unless that space is otherwise occupied.
Also, consider yourself invited to the Pause discussion group at Brady’s coffee on Rusk street (behind the park) from 8 to 10. Sodas and coffee drinks are on the house!
