The King of the universe washes feet.

Community, according to Scripture, is like a human body. The whole is greater than the sum of its parts. And the whole depends on each part.

The community of Mosaic exists, on a practical level, because its people serve one another. Following the call and example of Jesus, every week volunteers come not to be served, but to serve.

God’s community serves each other in this way in order to be a people able to serve the world. The gospel of Jesus isn’t about love being available when you step into a building. It’s about love overflowing through Christ’s people in service to all the world.
